One of those rare perfect races. Went out a little fast, but pulled back at mile 4. One 40-ish chick kept trying to race me between miles 5-7, so I just let her go. Saw the 1st masters chick an eon ahead of me around mile 9, but, knowing her times at other races, kept thinking she must have gone out too fast. She did. Caught her at 13.1 and passed Racer Hag at 17. Kept the lead to win overall masters. Felt really good the entire way, which hasn't happened in a marathon since 2007. Running LESS and taking ibuprofen before a race works! And chia seeds. And a negative ion quackery necklace.

No pain this morning after race aside from the general WTF chronic things.
