Well, that kind of sucked.
Thought this course was going to be pretty flat, but it was constantly hilly...Long horrendous hills into ridiculous wind. First mile marker was long which threw me into confidence wack, and then just tried to hold on. Felt like I was racing pretty well, but apparently I wasn't.
Managed 12th place out of 644 and 3rd overall masters (not grandmasters, bitches). Obviously, not very competitive. Even so, extremely well organized and fun in spite of my meh-tastic time.
