It's a good thing that armadillos are covered in armor and have zero predators, because they don't give a shit if you walk right up to them. I literally tapped the one I saw today with my toe, and it barely appeared alarmed as it rooted around on Nine Mile Hill.
Speaking of that hill, I saw 2 chicks completely covered up in camelbaks, garmins, gels sticking out everywhere, knee tape, and I CANT LOOK AT YOU, I'M SUPER SERIOUSLY TRAINING FOR A MARATHON!!! expressions jogging down it. Lolz. Ah, the good old days of dorkdom.
