Really loving running without GPS. I think it's a shame people are so reliant on it and I am sad that I was introduced to the sport this way. Been doing my runs lately with the GPS watch but found a way to disable all to stupid split/pace info from the faces (I didn't realize these were setting you could adjust........) and this is helping just reinforcing a focus on effort. Nice to have the data afterwards for feedback and I think that's where the value in these gadgets is. But I really am finding an actual affection for running in the absence of that instantaneous feedback, and have been pushing for a year now to focus on my body's feedback during a run instead.

Anyway ran the moderate block by feel. Everything felt relaxed. 17:15 gate to gate and 21:45 for the Hains Point-BuckeyeDr loop and then finished down Ohio Drive. Ended up around 640 pace, which is just about right. Amazing how the body just figures out where to go. This was an insignificant run but it's made a meaningful impact on my interest in the sport.
