Okay. It would be a really crazy day if I actually got one of my workouts right. Today was no exception. Really read this workout closely...

So, my coach really laid into me about running so long every day. And a good runner friend of mine gave me some good advice right before this workout: "You have to just let it go, Tonya."

The workout was supposed to be a little warmup, and then the progression run you are all used to seeing: 5 min at a time at a given pace, going up .1 for 30 minutes. Then 2 minutes at a time, still going up .1 for another 12 minutes, then 1 minute at a time, until failure.

Wellllll...I set the treadmill for 50 minutes, because that was the time goal I needed to achieve. I'm so used to seeing a countdown based on 60 minutes, when the display said 30 minutes I started going to the 2 minute progression. I realized this sometime around the 37 minutes, and decided to just run until I got to the point where I was supposed to be running 1 minute at a time. I tried to make up for it after 42 minutes by going back down to where I was supposed to be (9.4 mph), and worked my way up for the next 8 minutes.
