Why I started running: I noticed that I was getting winded on the job so after smoking for 35 years I quit (8/1/04). I started gaining weight (all time high 240 lbs) so I started walking with my wife. I also started losing weight by counting weight watcher points (my wife was my coach/trainer) I was feeling better and breathing better at 180 lbs so I tried running (8/1/05) and I'm happy to say that I still enjoy hitting the pavement each morning before work |
