8 second PR from last season and 17 seconds faster than the BU mini meet, so I'm calling it a success. Even though I told myself I wouldn't be nervous for this race, definitely a little anxious waiting on the line (they had us stand on the line while they played the national anthem). Plan was to go out with Loki in sight (around a 38-39), think I came through in a 39-40. Obviously the race felt fast, however I was feeling good and I would say I still have a couple seconds to lose. Nice to start the season off with a PR, looking forward to more to come in the 3k and 5k
