Notes

NB half marathon. Perfect racing conditions, low amounts of windy, sunny and ~35-40 degrees out. Felt AWFUL the first 3-4 miles, starting on a long gradual uphill is torture. Suffered through watching Erin up ahead of me making moves and kept thinking that I had to catch up to her. The middle easy miles, felt EZ and great. It is incredible how fast those miles go since there is no windy and it is a nice slight downhill. Caught up to Erin and kept the pace quick, knowing that the windy section was coming and I'd lose some time there. Windy miles from 9-11 were not very windy at all!!!, which was very excited I thought for sure I'd get through the whole race without any awful wind.... then for the last two miles the windy was AWFUL and those miles are up hill and always tough anyway. Lost A TON of time by running so sloww, so mad about that. If I was just able to hold a 6:30 for the last mile I would have run 12 sec faster! Thought I was running a fast time considering all the fast middle miles but when I turned the corner for the last stretch I saw the clock and was disappointed it wasn't closer to sub 83. Pretty annoyed it's only a 29 sec PR for an entire year, so what are we looking at a 1 min PR for Boston? 10 sec PR if you count the Hyannis HM relay split. UG.

Hopefully no one reads this because it's UNEDITED.
