That's right. A 7 miler in 96 degrees heat. I am going to create a new category for heat training, because that's exactly what this was. My goal was to just get through this run. I meant to slow down even more at the end and have a more reasonable HR, but the thing is, I just wanted to get the run over with at that point. Regardless, I am considering this a success. I probably have double the blood volume, easily. Also, nos surprise hear, but I sweat a lot and am now down to my lowest post run weight in a while. Finally in the 160s. Now I really need to keep it going and get down to the 150s, but that will take some time.
