YES! A new PR. I was secretly hoping for this but did not want to get to upset if I didn't because I wasn't sure it was possible based on how my training has fallen off and I did gain a couple pounds. I think it just means I may have maintained my fitness after improving it in the spring leasing up to the Rutgers half. Felt really good and of course it didn't hurt to have perfect weather. Frank broke 20 with a 19:23 and Abby got 28:09. The course record went down by 20 seconds so everyone did well. This was a good race for me but I would not say it was a 100% effort. I had quite a bit left to kick at the end which makes me think I could have taken a bit more time off. This is just more motivation to get even faster and eventually break the 20 min. barrier! Need to keep up the training now with my new job and watch my weight.
