8HR Run from the Ducks - Great race. Temps were in the 60s for the first half then in the 90s for the second half.
I don't really know what my official mileage is yet, but this is from the garmin.
I had 3 goals going into this:
1) Keep moving the whole time - Check
2) Run at least 50k - Check
3) Run 40 miles - Dream goal - didn't make it though. I was on track for it at 4 hours, but the heat kicked in around then and it just wasn't going to happen.
4x 32oz Gatorade + 4x Boost + 2 Oreos, 4 or 5 little cups of coke/orange soda, plus a fair amount of water, plus some S! caps and E-caps - not really sure how many. Still lost 5 pounds.
Met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun. More details later.
