Notes
This morning was the Peachtree Road Race and I ran it with my daughter Ashlee. Payton started with us as well but ran her own race and ran a 46:16 which she said was easy :)
We were running good until about mile 3 when Ashlee needed to stretch, she then started feeling bad and so we walked a couple major hills and walked the water stops the rest of the way. She has not run this kind of distance in some time and has never raced further than 4 miles so this was a good run considering.
I will be writing much more about it on my blog in the next couple days, including the story about how we were interviewed by CBS Atlanta right before starting and then again after the finish.
Fun day, but very humid!
