Notes

Just an easy 4 miler with the Fleet Feet running group. After about 13 miles into my 19 miler on Sunday I was feeling a bit of tightness in my left calf. It didn't get any worse through the rest of the run so I just went ahead and ran through it. Later that evening it was still hurting and again on Monday morning so I decided to take an unscheduled off day yesterday.

This was my first time back out there since Sunday morning so I took it a bit easier than everyone else. I rolled it last night and this morning, as well as iced it. When starting it was very tight, but started to loosen up a bit after a couple miles. The last couple miles were almost pain free and just felt like sore muscles after a tough run so that was good.

I am undecided what I will do in the morning..... if I will take another day to let it heal or just go out and do a few easy miles. I know I will not be doing my scheduled 9 miler though.... that I am sure of.
