Notes
Went to run the trails at Tribble Mill Park for my long run this morning. My daughter Payton was going out there with a friend to run her long run so I took her and ran my long run while I was there, passing them every so often as we rounded the lake.
Todays plan was to end the run on an even number without being even 1 second either side of a full minute. That is tough for one mile, but when you run 9 miles on the trails that can be very difficult. Imagine my surprise when I hit it exactly at 1 hour and 39 minutes.... and NO seconds :) (OK, I admit, I am not smart enough to be able to figure that out, but it was cool that it happened that way. I have never had that happen before.
The last few miles were hard and I started to slow a bit, but finished up 9 miles just as I was coming out of the woods... very cool, or very good planning however you look at it.
