6 mile run at tempo pace - was supposed to be an easy run but ended up running it a bit fast to be called that. It wasn't a bad run, but was not what I would call an "easy" run. This week is a step down in weekly mileage on my marathon training plan so my longest weekday run is 6 miles instead of last weeks 10 miles. This is really good considering I just introduced new shoes and have a half marathon race this Sunday.
Was the coldest it has been since spring at 54 degrees - was kinda chilly when I got going.
I ran with my new shoes yesterday without my inserts and my feet were a bit sore - I decided to put the inserts in today and they fell much better!
