This morning we set out wanting to do 4 miles. There was a storm coming that could show up at any time but based on what I saw on the radar it could show up as early as 5:20.
We took off and started running without any rain at all. The run was going good and then right about at 2 miles it started to rain a little bit. I wanted to keep going because I don't mind running in the rain, and in fact sometimes enjoy it. My running partner felt the complete opposite, and since we were passing a spot where we could easily cut the run short.... it was all too easy. We went ahead and cut it short at 2.3 miles and when we got back to the house it started raining quite good.
I thought about going back out, but now that I was inside and it was raining like it was...... it was hard to get back out there... especially because I didn't want to run in wet shoes tomorrow.
It was a good run though, just wish it could have been longer.
