Notes

Only ran this because I thought it might be small enough for me to win it. Thank you Cremer for not showing up, even though it was in your back yard. Took off pretty fast hoping to crush the guy behind me but was surprised to see that he wasn't too far behind when we made the loop through the High School. After mile 1, we completed the full loop where the spectators were set up for the finish. Jim hollered out that he was about 40 feet behind, Then we entered Marginal way and up Prospect St. I knew we were supposed to head back down Ellsworth to enter the trail again and finish but as I approached the street, I saw a sign pointing left, so I went left. Turns out that someone had inadvertently turned the sign and I missed almost 2/10 of the course, Fortunately, when I looked back before the turn the runner behind me was nowhere in sight. So although, I cut the course, this is a genuine win and he graciously acknowledged that I had him easily. First ever win in a road race and I'll take it. This was supposed to be a recovery day. Damn you Rob and Cremer.

I was up and thought about it for about 2 seconds, and then rolled over and stayed in bed until my Grandson woke me up... ah the irony.

Mad-Mike

Nice, congratulations.

L Train

Awesome. Congrats on the win, Eric. Many more to come, I'm sure.

Scorps

I thought only Italians cheated?

Heh sweet, congrats. I did set my alarm early enough but the bed was just too comfortable, and besides you would've beaten me anyway.
