COMMENTS: Was very hot. I am not sure why, but I started out at a 5K pace. I ended up running the first mile in 9:15. Second in 10:13 and the third in 10:19. I slowed down a bit after that and banged out a good run.
I really felt like it was going to be a hard long run after just 3.5 miles, so I slowed down a bit and changed my planned 7 mile route to be just over 6. When I got almost home I was feeling great and decided to tack on some mileage again. Actually I ran longer than the original plan. Woot!
