What started as un uneventful 6 mile recovery run with Tory turned into meeting a Boomer Goddess! In my neighborhood! Tory and I were gliding along and passed two girls when one said "Perch Creek?". I knew it was Munch at that point so we stopped and chatted. I kept a bit away since I was as slimy as a salamander at that point (thought Munch might not appreciate a wet Boomer hug :)). She looked GREAT! Her friend is training for a 2 day walk (like about 40 miles!). Munch is targeting Kiawah half as her next challenge. It was just great to see her. She got to pet Tory!!
We (Tory and I) finished the run in 5709 for a pace of 9:32 with AHR 144.
