COMMENTS: Nice morning mid 30's. Hilly trail run in Duke Forest-Whitfield with Tory. Saw bunches of deer with their white "flag" tails held high. The cement dam which is the path across the creek was flooded over so we had to turn around and go the opposite way around to the other side. This added some new, major climbing hills. We still did the 8 miles in 1 hr 10 min for an 8:49 pace
