"9.3 K" although closer to 9.5. Had shin splints at the start and pain decreased later, back was also tight. Knee was stiff/ sore afterwards but ok. Felt good in the race as miles added up. I was 30 with 2 miles to go and picked people off until I was 24, but settled with 50 m to go and let a chilean kid get me at the finish for 25th place. Can't let that happen in races, don't want to start bad habits. Overall, pretty pleased. Went through their 8 K mark sub 30, just gotta keep up the training.
