Plan - 7 mile long run at slow pace...around 11min/mile. Actual - 6.2 miles at 9:36/mile. It was a cool, windy morning so I didn't want to slow it down too much (subconsciously I feel that running a bit faster will keep me warmer?). My HR was high from the beginning - I'm starting to feel nasally again as my little one is battling a cold. I should try to hit the sack early tonight.

The good thing is I definitely had more in the tank toward the end - I just didn't want to push it and get sick again. As long as I'm healthy I should be able to finish the Cherry Blossom 10M next month, and if I get some good training runs in during the next month I should be able to run around a 9min/mile pace or faster.
