Warm, sweaty run - 77 degrees and humid at 6am. I got new shoes and that did a lot for the knee pain...barely any today! I slowed down and kept my HR down...I decided if my HR went over 160 that I would slow down and walk, so I kept my HR below 160 the full run. It was at a price as my splits were 10:30, 11:04 and 11:26 - but avg HR was 148. The slower times could also be a function of the heat and humidity.
