Starting temp up at ~6942ft (2116m) probably around 60, not cold at all
Ending temp at base ~3438ft (1048m) around 70, hot
Quite steep downhill road race, probably around 5-7% grade down for the first 10 miles. Last 3 miles was not flat, it just look flat on the elevation chart because of scaling. The last segment was rolling hills, not steep at all but felt like big hills after 10 miles of nonstop downhill. Course was lined with very tall pines on both sides, it was scenic but turned boring and monotonous after a few minutes, couldn't see very far ahead due to lots of turns. The Rocky Mountain HM route was much more scenic, although not a fast course. I think this course is harder to race than the Rocky Mountain one (if not comparing time)
