This is another one of my free entry deals, signed up several months ago and it was really unbelievable. First mile was on the road, then the next 8 miles were on the trails of this gorgeous community. You passed everything - open fields with animals, lakes, woods, farms, etc. At different points along the course, they had a bagpiper, banjo player, saxophone player, drummers. And somehow I managed to NOT FALL ONCE in 8 miles of trail! That is astonishing. I did have to walk a few times during the race, my first time in many months.
