Terrain: Track
Notes: The Metacomet Monadnock Trail, from the Westfield River to the Route 90 Turnpike, climbs 450'. This section is extensively re-routed round the Lane Quarry and a Sportsman's Club. The re-routing takes the trail down along the Paucattuck Brook as it leaves Bearhole Reservoir. The trail is very slow and hard to follow. As with the rest of the East Mountain sections the trail is criss-crossed by a variety of old logging roads, jeep trails and utility pole corridors.
