My goal was to keep this sub 8:00, even though it was a long hilly run. One week from the DHJones 10 miler, I need to start moving a little faster if I want anything close to 7:00 miles there. Despite hills, the first uphill half of the run was 8:01 pace, a couple miles around 7:45 pace. Didn't account for the fact that the sun would go down, and got home quite frozen. Half an hour later and I'm still chilly, as I wore only one layer of spandex in temps hovering right around freezing.
