First step onto the concrete block at the sandpit, I popped my foot. The little floating bit of bone isn't quite settled in yet. I could barely walk for a couple minutes, sent Nye off ahead, and began walking toward the next gate and the car. Felt good enough to try running and did, caught Nye at the handrails. Coming off the first handrail, hurt the foot again. No more impacts allowed, stayed on the reservoir while Nye did the summit. I did 10 hspu at the new pumphouse, 8 pullups, then ran back for 10 more hspu, and back for 8 more pullups with 2 animal flow cycles until Nye showed up. Great compromise workout. I have no problem dialing things back while I just get myself ready for Mt. Greylock.

Also, before the run, fully wrapped both calves with Mwod bands and worked out the kinks. There was some soreness in my achilles at the start, but it calmed right down. I'm going to be diligent with this and inversions on a regular basis and swear off speed and jumping.
