The res was great, plenty of perfect running surface. I was anticipating trouble so began sprinting during good footing, eventually pulling up to Joe at the front. I'd seen quite a number of ladies, including Heather W. Kathy L. Abby W. and one who's name I missed. Dan pulled ahead in the last mile and I let him go chase Joe while I tried to muster as much bodily awareness as possible. I am managing a bruised rib, groin pain, and the usual imbalances, nothing more.
