I arrived in time to catch friends coming and going. I chatted and ran a warmup to head off the crowd still running, and joined them for some quicker miles. Warmed up at 9+, ran a 9 and two 8's or so. This is a casual workout, though the 8 minute mile felt like a good quick clip. My foot is kind of sore, the rocks on the trail bothered it worst, but the main problem is that my sedentary habits for school and the time off for the foot have let my muscles shorten and tighten. I have to agressively relax and extend them, I guess. There is a friggin ultramarathon to run 10 days or so from now!
