Notes
Most brutal course ever, for the distance. Didn't help that the sun was blazing down 90% of the day. I was very surprised Nye finished, but he did. I think I ran about 1/2 mile of uphill, then every climb was a power-hike. I hadn't ran since last Saturday. The last climb had my quads cramping so hard my bones hurt. I was saved by a salt pill from an aid station volunteer, not sure how I would have finished the descent without it. Completely unprepared to spend almost 3 hours running. I haven't logged a run that long since Mt. Greylock half marathon in 2010, three years ago.
