Was saved from possible death by a driver leaving Nonotuck, "There's a black bear in there." I thanked her and turned to go the other way, she made sure to tell me it was a big one. I did turn back around and run past the park entrance, but as I told the lady, "That's not the excitement I had planned tonight." A nice easy run through town.
