Notes

Got there late, no time to warm up, so took it easy. 8:11, 7:49, and about 7:15 in the last mile. A minute span in pacing is a nice range to get an ideal relaxed stride and try to pull it off steadily faster. I focused on hip drive rather than lower leg, and relaxed elbow to shoulder cross crawl. I felt in control enough to push past a whole bunch of people in the last quarter mile. Still some achilles pain during the cool down mile, maybe due to that push. I would have liked to stop and stretch I suppose but got caught up in the cooldown habit.
