Nye and I ran this one for our 4th time. He had a great day finishing 7 mnutes faster than me. Major victory for me, first time ever that my hips did not completely seize up on the long climb. Dilligent stretching and foam roller/lacrosse ball/softball work paid off. My recovering ankle had 2 twinges on the first downhill that I respected and that disappeared by the end of the race. I've only been running for a week after 3 weeks off, so very glad to have my best of 4 races here by 3 minutes.
