Excellent race. Splits: 6:30, 13:30, 20:30, 28:XX, 34:XX, approximately. My pace was so good turning up towards HCC that I eased off. John Dent passed, Mike B. caught up. So did Kathy Lynch and we three stuck together. The downhill trashed my left ankle, ouch. Need to accustomize myself to speed with real speedwork. I'll be ok with some ice and nice. Had a second wind mile 5, felt very solid. Top in the Grand Prix, I believe - by 2 points!
