Well, this was interesting. I set out to do twice this distance, the whole Mt. Tom loop. Work didn't seem to happen this morning and this was a way to get to the top of Mt. Tom for the sunrise and take pictures. Well this little demon device, the camera, conspired to stop me at every half mile. Not only to take pictures, but chase batteries and other bologna. I tried to carry it in my nathan hip sack and it didn't work, the camera's a real dinosaur. I'm downloading 67 pictures now though. I ran from the M+M at 141, up the summit and over to the windmill, then down the ski trail. Camera bologna took so long that I scrapped the plans and headed down to Whiting, ran around it the long way bck to the little spur that rejoins the M+M. Just mapped it to 6.5 miles and over 1000'.
