205'-178' First Race of 2008, first time on the course. Great to see the usual crowd, ran ahead of Kathy L. and Dan M. until 2.75 M or so when they passed me, Kathy for an Age group record. No frame of reference, just tried to push hard and steady but left with nothing at the end. Totally winded for a good 1-2 mins, gasping. Awesome run, one of my best 5k times.
