Took the brand new Inov8's for a spin on a new trail. They performed very well on the shale, in the streams, and around the reservoir. Rock protection is better than the Crosslites, but the treads are not as agressive. These are a great mid-weight shoe for all terrain and probably distance. Very very light and allow a good flat footstrike for me. Also, I now have a trail to link the M+M to Whiting Res, without having to even look at a road.
