Cramps in my calfs after 1/4 mile, moved throughout my legs and vanished by 3/4 miles. Screwed up the watch and only timed the second, downhill mile, at 9:10. The downhill stride was worst, gave me occasional pain in my knee and required full attention to correct it. Of course, who can say if I can correct it? My entire ankle is stiff, and the knee is out of whack. The knee is definitely wrenched to one side by the stiff tendons, etc. There wasn't much pain at all uphill or on the flat, no pain at the site, only stiffness. So I'm going to go for a real run now, this being a warm up. I'll log it with an empty time slot and see if it shows up on my blog.
