Passed a long line of decenders on the other side of the road, even Abby was just at the race start when I rounded the corner from the parking lot, she left with a group just when I did but took the road. Everyone knew what I was doing, good positive vibes. Gorgeous view at one point, that during the race enlivened me. At taht point was a young lady backpacker, gorgeous beauty looking out upon beauty. Those were my thoughts. Some incredulous looks at the summit from other racers as I just cruized on past to the trail.
