Great choice to run. Despite a head cold and two hard days, and 2 1/2 hours in a car just before. Good 8:30 pace with Nye to the bottom. Felt Mt. Greylock during the first quarter mile up the B17, then felt more and more solid on the way to the top. First there, except for some other crazy dad who showed up with a couple teenagers. He flew right by me after waiting for all of us to start. The way down was fine, and the run back up was very solid. Muscles were steeley, especially the glutes. Nye faded on the hill and on the return but was sprinting at the finish.
