Notes

Took no splits. Very slow starting, heavy legs. Not till the first real climb to the ridgeline did I feel comfortable. There were thousands of little red efts on the trail. I spent the whole time trying not to step on them. Not feeling very fast or strong on the hills, but I'm barely running 20 miles a week here. And I'm not racing regularly for speed. May run thursday before the race and volunteer at it. I need more quality distance and climbing than the 5k, and a day off tomorrow for a Saturday morning run.
