The race was cancelled because the weather. So I setup my car with potato chips and bananas just outside of Morven Park and did just over 10 mile segments between stops. Based on how things went I think I could have PRed, but probably still well over 6 hours, maybe 6:30 in a race? The 100 mile is going to take a heck of a grinding effort but I know I can do it if I just keep moving and fighting with a run/walk. I had a little rough spot just after 20 miles and still I was able to push at what would be a good 100 mile pace. Then I got some food and listened to some good music and found myself in a good spot again. I think the important thing is just to keep plugging away through the rough spots.
