This was a good one. Started with a climb up Maryland Heights so the body got trashed right away. It was about a 1150 feet climb in the first 2.5 miles. The heat and climb really got to me but I was able to hang on and I focused on lowering my average pace once I got down on the towpath. I was able to keep my average pace to just over 15 min mile through Maryland Heights so I think for MMTR if I can just make up pace on the easy sections I should be fine.
