Extremely happy with this workout. 4 x 1 mile, 1 min rest interval. It was cool but still humid. The first one was ok but the last three I totally crushed. This loop is very interesting. The first third is steep up hill, about 120 feet climb. It's really a VO2 max workout for that section. It levels out and is rolling for the middle third and the last third goes back down about 120 feet steep. The great thing about using this for intervals is I get VO2 max at the beginning, mini recovery in middle and work on the quick turnover flying down the hill. Very intense. Love it!

When I broke 7 min on the second repeat I was like awesome! I thought that would be impossible for me on this loop. When I did it again and again I was just super happy.

1 - 7:16

2 - 6:59 (in my head was Tom Carnegie saying his famous "It's a new track record..." and fans cheering)

3 - 6:55 ("It's a new track record..." fans cheering even louder)

4 - 6:56 ("Not a new track record but kept the pace")
