Notes
The weather made this challenging, mix of sleet and really cold rain. After about 1 hour 45 min I stopped back at home and changed clothes, I was soaked. What I ended up with worked well. Patagonia Holiday lake shirt base layer, wool middle layer, shell, and then my Houdini. For my legs I wore tights and running pants. Buff to cover the ears and a running hat to keep the water off my face.
Legs felt pretty good but I was definitely fatigued. At first I thought I would do 5 hours but the weather really tested me. I feel like I prevailed although I did only get 4 hours in.
