I tried to do the middle 3 miles at half marathon pace but I was freaking out because it felt like the treadmill was pushing me instead of me it and I felt like I was going to fall off. The fastest I could comfortably run was about 8:20 pace. This was all mental. It wasn't difficult, it just felt like the thing was going to toss me and I had to slow it down. Legs felt really good though.
