Notes
Had to get up earlier because I'm now working the 10-4 shift on Saturday's. It was, I think, about the same temperature-wise as yesterday. I took a GU so I had more energy than usual but still I felt tired. When I got over into Two Rivers across the bridge I started passing a bunch of younger looking joggers who were trotting along, and they would always look back at me as I approached as if I was unexpected. There was some older guy talking to one of them, so I assumed he was the coach and that this was a HS team. As I passed them I focused on picking them off so as to gain some speed. Most of them were pretty slow, except the first guy, who I had to work a little bit into the sub 7 territory to pass, which normally would be easy, but because of my effed-ness, it was a bit hard. Overall, I encountered more runners than normal. It was nice in the shade but when I got to those open parts the sun really kicked my ass. The last 3 miles especially were really hard. Glad I got it over with though.
