Easy warmup mile, then 4 hilly miles at something approaching next weeks 10 mile pace. Splits:
9:03, 157bpm (bad signal)
8:01, 161bpm
7:55, 158bpm
7:39, 164bpm
7:32, 169bpm
Couldn't really keep a steady 7:45 pace, just kept gradually increasing the pace. Reset the watch after 5 miles and continued on my long run.
