Notes
We got up at three in the morning and left Jes' house about twenty til four. We had a two hour drive to meet up with the team and then about another thirty minutes to the race check in. It was so cool, i really didn't know if i would like it or not but i loved the whole experience. After we got checked in, we drove to the first checkpoint. We decorated the van and then Becca went to her start line and we drove up to the second drop off. Once we were parked (so many white conversion vans in one place!! ) we all went out to cheer Becca in and watch as Jason got his leg started. it was kind of hard to wait for my turn and was i was at my starting line (I was runner #6) i was kind of nervous, everyone had been running really well and overachieving to that point and i didn't want to let anyone down. i started off fast and was able to keep it up. i didn't really look at my watch very much and was surprised by how fast they said i had run when i finished. when i got back to the van i changed my shirt and ate and drank a bottle of water, then it was time to wait again
